Lakrd holds the operational data of a whole business. This policy sets out what we collect, why, and how we keep it protected and isolated.
This policy explains how Lakrd Private Limited handles two kinds of information: the details you share with us directly, and the operational data your business keeps inside the platform. We treat both with the seriousness an ERP demands.
Information you share with us
When you request a demo or sign up, you provide details such as your name, work email, company name, role, industry and team size. We use this information to respond to you, arrange demonstrations, create your workspace access, and communicate about the service you asked about.
Operational data inside the platform
Once you use Lakrd, your business records - sales orders, production runs, inventory, financial entries and HR data - are stored to operate the platform for you. This data is yours. We process it to provide the service, and we do not sell it.
Tenant isolation
Each customer's data is isolated per tenant. One business cannot access, see or reach another's records through the platform. Isolation is a core part of how the system is built, not an add-on.
How we protect information
- Data is encrypted in transit and at rest.
- Access within your organisation is governed by role-based controls.
- Financial and inventory actions are recorded in audit trails.
- Access to systems is limited to those who need it to operate the service.
Sharing with third parties
We share information only where it is necessary to run the service - for example, with infrastructure and email providers that operate on our behalf - or where we are required to by law. Any such providers are expected to handle your data with equivalent care.
Retention
We keep the details you share with us for as long as needed to respond to your enquiry and manage our relationship. Operational data is retained for as long as you use the platform and handled according to the terms of your agreement when that relationship ends.
